Egypt and Oman adopt similar policies, the Egyptian foreign minister has said. Sameh Shoukry made his comment in Muscat after meeting with his Omani counterpart Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah on Monday.
According to the Oman News Agency, the two ministers discussed Arab regional issues and challenges related to the situations in Syria, Yemen and Iraq, as well as the fight against terrorism. Bilateral cooperation and ways of enhancing links in various fields were also on the agenda.
Shoukry said that Egypt and Oman have historical relations that have always been marked by holding similar views. The two countries adopt similar policies that contribute to the strengthening of Arab stability and solidarity and work jointly in serving the interests of the two peoples, he added.
