An Israeli military court at the Ofer detention centre sentenced 14-year-old Ayham Mohammad Adawi from the Al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron to three months in prison and fined him 3,000 shekels ($784) on charges of throwing stones.
The Israeli army arrested Adawi and his friend, Jabr Badawi, 13, last week while they were returning from school.
The same court sentenced Badawi to 31 days in prison and fined him a further 3,000 shekels on the same charges, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) lawyer, Munther Abu Ahmad, said on Sunday evening.
