January 19, 2017 at 12:07 pm

Former political adviser to the head of the National Salvation Government, Mohammed Omar Hussein, called on Tunisia and Algeria to stand by the Libyan people and not allow Egypt to “play around with the region’s security”.

Omar Hussein said in an interview with “Quds Press” on Wednesday that “the interference by various parties and frequent security breaches will benefit no one”.

“Any security disruption in Libya, even if to merely threaten the legitimacy of the state and rule of law, will spread like wild fire to our neighbours”, he said.

Omar Hussein also called on “the authorities in Tunisia and Algeria to support the emerging civil state in Libya”.
