The Tunisian political party “Nidaa Tounes” (“Call of Tunisia”) will not seek coalition with any party in the forthcoming municipal elections, the party’s Executive Director Hafedh Caid Essebsi said on Sunday.
In a press statement yesterday at Téboulba town, Essebsi told Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) news agency that the candidates, who will be picked by Nidaa Tounes local coordinations, will contest the elections under the banner of the “one political party”.
He noted that the municipal elections will reveal the full weight of Nidaa Tounes.
