March 9, 2017 at 2:02 pm

GCC member states have laid realistic foundations to deal with Iran, Russia Today quoted UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, saying on Tuesday.

Speaking at the 147th session of the Arab League, Gargash said that the three foundations are to accept non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, to accept that the Iranian revolution is an internal affair which should not be exported to Arab countries, and to accept the principle of citizenship based on the country and not religious sect.

Gargash said that Tehran must accept these principles instead of interfering in the internal affairs of neighbouring countries, putting their security and stability at risk.

The spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition of Arab States, Major General Ahmed Asiri said that Iran’s actions are the cause of terrorism and instability in the region.
