25 killed in second bombing in Damascus

A second bomb has struck in Damascus hours after a suicide attacker struck at the Justice Palace in Al-Hamidiyeh.

Thirty-one people were thought to have been killed in the first attack, twenty-five people are thought to have been killed in the second attack with many more injured.

The government owned Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the second bomber blew himself up in a restaurant.

Government officials evacuated the area following the blast.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The bombing comes a day after the sixth anniversary of the start of demonstrations calling for the ousting of President Bashar Al-Assad and which led to the start of the war in the country.
