The occupation forces also demolished a Palestinian house that was under construction in the Khillet Al-Nahleh area southeast of Bethlehem. The house, which was claimed by the Israeli authorities to have been built without a permit, is owned by the local resident Nabhan Nasrallah.

According to the source, the house is located in the West Bank’s C area, referring to the Oslo I Accord signed between the Israeli government and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington in 1993.

Area C represents 61 per cent of the occupied West Bank and is fully controlled by the Israeli forces, which makes obliges the Palestinians to seek formal approval from the occupation authorities before implementing any projects.
