Israel plans to build 28,000 settlement units

Israel plans to build 28,000 new settlement units in occupied Jerusalem over the next decade, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported yesterday.

The newspaper reported that this agreement, which includes building 15,000 housing units in the West Bank, would be presented to US President Donald Trump during his upcoming visit to Tel Aviv.

According to the Israeli newspaper, the head of the committee responsible for the plan said:

Obama's days have passed and we will approve this plan without any restrictions.

The housing ministry and Jerusalem Municipality, which are under the occupation's control, formulated an agreement considered the largest of its kind, which includes the construction of over 28,000 housing unites in Jerusalem over the next decade. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government will present the agreement to Trump during his visit in ten days' time.
