Israeli settlers march with Israeli flags in East Jerusalem [Ma’an News]

Israeli police allowed a “provocative” march of Israeli flags to tour the Arab neighbourhoods of East Jerusalem, Ma’an News.com reported yesterday.

This is the first time the annual march by extremist settlers has been allowed to travel through the Arab neighbourhoods of Jerusalem.

The event, held to mark the annexation of the holy city to the state of Israel, began in West Jerusalem and passed the Western Wall and ended at Al-Mughrabi Gate.

The march is described even by Jews as provocative to the Palestinians. It was launched from the western part of the holy city, passed with Al-Buraq/ Western Wall, the old walls of the city and ended at Al-Mughrabi Gate.
