Gaza: Palm Sunday Mass held at church damaged by Israeli strikes
Gaza's Christian community gathered today for Palm Sunday Mass at the Greek Orthodox Saint Porphyrius Church, which had been previously hit by Israeli air strikes. The church was struck by Israeli warplanes on 21 October, killing at least 18 people and causing significant damage to parts of the church. The incident left the church's facade impaired and led to the collapse of an adjoining building where several displaced Palestinian families, both Muslim and Christian, had been sheltering.
