Netanyahu’s aid has served in several positions in the Israeli army, including as commander of paratroopers during the Israeli offensive on Gaza in 2014 when he lost 11 officers and scores of his troops were wounded in ambushes orchestrated by Palestinian fighters, who attempted to stop the Israeli offensive.

He also led several military operations for the Israeli occupation army during the second Israeli war in Lebanon in 2006.
