Israeli army builds military tower in Hebron

July 30, 2017 at 11:21 pm

Israeli occupation forces installed today a new military tower in the Palestinian village of Kharsa located in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.

Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that the military’s jeeps and bulldozers invaded and dredged an 800-metersquare private land in Kharsa that belongs to the Al Shahatit Palestinian family.

They pointed out that the Israeli army imposed a security cordon around the dredging area and prevented the Palestinians from passing nearby the site.

For several days, the occupation forces had been occupying the house of the family of Ayed Yousef Al-Shahatit as a prelude to the military tower’s construction.

According to Hebrew sources, the establishment of the tower comes as part of the Israeli measures to protect the security of the Jewish settlers while they travel between the country’s outposts in Hebron.
