Fierce cyberattacks on Palestine

Internet providers in Palestine announced that Palestine has been under cyberattacks for the past two days for unknown reasons and by unknown parities.

These attacks are targeting most of the Palestinian internet networks intermittently and systematically, which is affecting the internet service in Palestine. As a result, users are left unable to browse the web intermittently and for limited periods of time.

Ma’an news obtained a copy of a statement issued by Internet providers in Palestine in which they said they are armed with their own protection systems and qualified staff that have been working nonstop in order to combat the vicious attacks.

They believe that the attacks are being carried out by parties targeting Palestine in particular. Given the irregularity of the attacks and their unknown source, as they are coming from various countries, putting a complete end to them will take more time and analysis.
