Palestinians in Gaza put their handicrafts on display at the “Lamseh” exhibition in the Red Crescent Hall today to help those most in need.

Organised by the LMSA Team, the fair, whose name translates to “Touch”, put on show keyrings, bracelets, artwork and plaques which were designed by the group’s volunteers.

Mustafa Al-Asar, head of the team, told MEMO that all items are available for sale and revenue from the exhibition will go towards helping orphans and those with special needs in the Gaza Strip. Today’s event showcased the work of four young volunteers and it is hoped that future events will provide a space for more talent to be displayed.

“We hope that in the future, the opportunity will arise and that funding can be achieved so we are able to offer more products and benefit a larger number of orphans and those with disability who are living in the Strip under difficult conditions.”
