The Iraqi Justice Ministry said on Sunday that it has executed 42 people convicted of terrorism.
In a brief statement, the ministry added that it carried out the execution of 42 terrorists after the final court rulings were endorsed by the head of state.
Most of those convicted of terrorism belonged to Daesh or work on its behalf, the official statement revealed.
