Christian priest calls for Palestinian resistance weapons to be retained

A member of the Christian-Islamic Committee in support of Jerusalem and the Holy Places, Father Manuel Musallam, has called for the Palestinian resistance groups not to give up their weapons, and to retain them until Palestinians receive their full rights and freedom.

Speaking to Shehab news agency, Father Musallam said that the Palestinian people have two demands: the first is national reconciliation among the Palestinian factions to preserve Jerusalem and all holy places, “which is demanded by the various religions and groups and is fundamental.”

The second demand, he added, is to keep the resistance weapons to protect Palestine and the Palestinian people, as well as the Palestinian reconciliation. He described any attempt to remove the weapons as “treachery”.

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and Fatah signed a reconciliation agreement in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Thursday. Israel insists on Hamas laying down and surrendering its arms.

    Common sense really

    • Eric11210

Of course it is. How else can your people butcher more Jews at will?

      • Helen4Yemen

Not a single Jew is indigenous to Palestine, they are all colonial settlers.

Nobody is indigenous to Palestine Madame Jihad. It doesn’t exist any more than Mordor does.

From the Complete Diaries of Theodore Herzl
What Palestine was he referring to and what were its borders?

Palestine and instructed me for hours on end. The
            northern frontier ought to be the mountains facing Cappadocia;
the southern, the Suez Canal. The slogan to be circulated: The

From the diseased mind of Madame Jihad, who makes things up from her fevered imagination.

            …which you wrote last night!

          • Well, the Canaanites were technically indigenous to Canaan, as were the Amorites, Hittites, Jebusites, Hivites, Perizzites, and Girgashites (the seven original nations of the Promised Land).

          • Eric11210

That may be but Palestine is a fictional construct thus there can be no indigenous Palestinians. Jews are however indigenous to the Land of Israel.

          Flogging a dead horse!

        • Well, murder is still wrong, I think, whether it involves Jews or Arabs or both.

          • Helen4Yemen

Where did I mention murder anywhere? what are you talking about?

          • Not your comment, Helen, the one you were replying to.

A very ungrateful people – they seem to forget that the Jews of Spain wound up in Muslim countries where they remained for centuries.

          • Eric11210

It’s what you support and lust for Madam Jihad — murder of the Jews.

Never again will Jerusalem be a dividedcity. Under the Armistice agreement drawn up in Rhodes, Greece in 1949 between the newly established state of Israel and the Arab countries that invaded
ISRAEL at it’s inception in May 1948 the agreement stated that Israel natonal including Jews of other nationallies would be given safe passage into the Old City of Jerusalem which fell to Jordan
    during Israel’s war of independence.
Jewish worshipers would have entered the Old City through Israel held west Jerusalem. However Jordan abrogated on her agreement and it would be another 19 years till the 1967 Six Days War for Jews to pray once again at the Western Wall of the 2nd Temple which was destroyed by the Romans in 70AD.
Therefore in summing up this Christian Priest should stick to praying and keep his Jew-hating nose out of politics.

    • Helen4Yemen

Why can’t the Jewish worshipers come to worship and go home back to where they came from like the Christian worshipers?

      • Pepper Wingate

You are saying that Jews should be allowed to worship on the Temple Mount? That would be a start!

      • Eric11210

Indeed, we are back where we came from Madame Jihad. Your people could do the same and go back to Arabia.

  • What about “Thou shalt not kill”, or turning the other cheek?
