The Qattan Centre for the Child has launched its science festival in Palestine; Days of Science in Palestine.

Considered an important event across Palestine, the event is held in many cities including Jerusalem, Ramallah, Gaza, Qalqilya, Jenin, Hebron and Bethlehem.

It aims to build and develop scientific ideas and display some of the scientific theories children learn in school.

The exhibition in Gaza has been divided into several sections, including an agricultural section that displays how to deal with crops.

Another section shows how to deal with school curriculums using modern methods and the delivery of information.

In another area, details relating to the medical field were exhibited, showing the human body’s functions and systems, while the chemistry section showed interactions between elements.

The exhibition also had an electronics, modern devices and robotics section. It also included other scientific presentations and experiences that students are unable to take part in in school as a result of the lack of capabilities in educational institutes.
