Turkey, Nigeria presidents hold talks in Ankara

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday received Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in his presidential complex in the capital Ankara, the Anadolu Agency reported.

The two presidents discussed bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, the Turkish ministers of defence and interior have also held talks with their Nigerian counterparts.

Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu discussed with his Nigerian counterpart Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau the fight against Fethullah Gulen who Ankara accuses of being behind the July 2016 coup attempt.
