Activists with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement in the Gulf are organizing a conference to combat normalizing relations between Israel and the Arabian Gulf in Kuwait.
The conference will take place under the patronage of Kuwait Parliament Speaker, Marzouq Al-Ghanim on 17 November.
The conference will discuss a number of issues including challenges facing the boycott movements in the Gulf and ways to strengthen them.
The conference also aims to educate the Arab youth about the Palestinian struggle and the importance of boycotting Israel and how to contribute to it.
The conference also aims to highlight the dangers of normalizing relations with Israel and to affirm the role of the Arab peoples in defending their homeland from the Israeli ambitions which threaten the Arab region.

A number of prominent Gulf and Arab figures as well as a group of BDS activists and supporters of the Palestinian cause will attend the conference.
A member of BDS Gulf Coordination Committee, Maryam Al-Hajiri said the conference comes in response to “the normalization trends with the Zionist enemy in the region, which calls for the need to highlight the popular voice in the Gulf which rejects the normalization”.
