Saudi- led Arab Coalition appoints two new commanders in Marib

The Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen on Sunday appointed two new commanders for its forces and the UAE force in the eastern province of Marib.

The official Yemeni news agency said that President, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi deputy, Lieutenant General Ali Mohsen Saleh has welcomed the new leaders of the coalition forces in Marib province.

According to the agency, Mohsen welcomed Brigadier Ali Sair al-Enezi, a Saudi national as commander of the coalition forces in Marib, and Brigadier General Saleh Saeed al-Ali, who was appointed as commander of the UAE force.

General Saleh presented honorary certificates to the former leadership of the Coalition Force represented by Saudi- Brig. Gen. Ibrahim bin Ali Al Harbi, the former commander of coalition forces in Marib, and Brig. Gen. Mohammed Abdullah Al Naqbi, the former UAE Force Commander.

Anadolu news agency said this is the first time Yemeni officials attend the leadership change ceremony.
