Israel most dangerous country in the Middle East, says former Dutch PM

The former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dries van Agt [Sander Bakkes/Wikipedia]

The former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dries van Agt has said that “Israel – for those who do not know – has a range of nuclear bombs and is the most dangerous country in the Middle East”.

Speaking at a session organised by the Socialist Youth Association in the city of Utrecht on the Palestinian-Israeli issue van Agt said, “Israel seems to the world public opinion as if [it is] living under constant threat as a small place among a number of Arab countries”.

“The entire world turns a blind eye to the blockade imposed on the Palestinian Gaza Strip, including the Netherlands” he said.

Van Agt has also noted that interest in the Palestinian cause has declined significantly over the past few years.

“There are several factors, but the most important is that people began to look at it as something natural, in addition to the disintegration of the Middle East” he said.

Van Agt, who is a diplomat of the Christian Democratic Union Party, was prime minister of the Netherlands between 1977-1982.

All I feel like doing is SCREAM “GO *F* YOURSELF” to this politician and to all others who only seem to manage to grow a tiny backbone only after they leave office. Doesn’t this useless monkey understand that HE and people like himself are the ones responsible for the ZioDomination of the West? Why not call them out on it when you’re in office, we know that they fear for their jobs, and that’s why they are less than decent human beings themselves, in order to keep their jobs they put the whole world in CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER! DAMN Cowards!

Hey Joe, There is also the Fact that the Rothschilds have a lot of Juice with the IMF and ECB. M`sieu Macron French Prime Minister is a Rothschilds Ex Banker. Holland is only a small country in a German EU. Here in the UK, every Political Party has a large “Friends of Israel” Section. Conservative MPs make Frequent Visits to Israel. Our BAE Systems sell Air to Ground Missiles to Israel.

    • DPV

First your of all, your choice of words makes your argument weaker. On Dutch televion, many years ago, the question was forwarded to him, why he didn’t act while in office. He apologized, and said said, he was ignorant. Don’t forget, the Netherlands during the war, handed over the most Jews per capita. A kind of guilt compensation is rather a fact, compared to expected obectivity.

      • kirby1

Well as you so ample demonstrate the aversion to antisemitism was only temporary.

        • DPV

It’s all over the this globe a well known fact that as soon as any discussion survaces concerning Israel, and whatever is slightly pointing to criticism, the anti-semitism card is pulled. There’s no country to be found, who will go to any length to get away with wathever conduct it performs. Objectivity is a curse!

          • kirby1

Why do the antisemetic trolls such as yourself feign such surprise at being identified for what they are, it must be another symptom of the disease. Your thinly veiled obfuscation regarding your rabbid hatred (antisemitism/anti-Israel) is fooling nobody.

          • DPV

Well, no use, if I read your “make believe stuff,” I think off the great Oscar Wilde, who once said, it’s not just a lack of imagination, it’s plain stupidity!

          • kirby1

“I think” – well that would be a first for you.

Obviously the facts rained on you imaginary parade, as they say: You Can’t Fix Stupid.

I will send your contribution to solve problem and finding on to my Jewish friends, as we hold each other in high respect mutual for many decades. And on fore hand, I know you will imagine, they are self-hating Jews, or whatever.

          • kirby1

“Some of my best friends are Jewish” – where have I heard that before.

and what, as time is progessing, do you mean with this. I always remain a gentleman. Up to this point, younare garbish. Your kind will always try to have some kind of conflict.

          • kirby1

We see very eell the sort of “gentleman” you are.

          • DPV

Well, you can call me whatever, very happy you showed your true colors Sir. Let’s see, one day, you’ll be driven out off your home. Or do I need to ask you how you would react or feel. Well if I read your comments, that’s ok with you. By the way, I am not offended by you calling me a Goebels.

          • kirby1

“I am not offended by you calling me a Goebels” no offense was meant I was only being accurate.

Efraim Karsh demonstrates in Palestine Betrayed, most Arabs fled their lands; exceedingly few were forced off. This history contradicts the Palestinian account that “Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people” which led to a catastrophe “unprecedented in history” (according to a PA twelfth-grade textbook) or that Zionists “plundered the Palestinian land and national interests, and established their state upon the ruins of the Palestinian Arab people” (writes a columnist in the PA’s daily). International organizations, newspaper editorials, and faculty petitions reiterate this falsehood worldwide.

Quran (16:106) – Establishes that there are circumstances that can “compel” a Muslim to tell a lie.
Quran (3:28) – This verse tells Muslims not to take those outside the faith as friends, unless it is to “guard themselves” against danger, meaning that there are times when a Muslim may appear friendly to non-Muslims, even though they should not feel friendly.

Quran (9:3) – “…Allah and His Messenger are free from liability to the idolaters…” The dissolution of oaths is with pagans who remained at Mecca following its capture. They did nothing wrong, but were evicted anyway. (The next verse refers only to those who have a personal agreement with Muhammad as individuals – see Ibn Kathir vol 4, p 49)

Quran (66:2) – “Allah has already ordained for you the dissolution of your oaths…”

Quran (40:28) – A man is introduced as a believer, but one who had to “hide his faith” among those who are not believers.

Quran (2:225) – “Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts”

Quran (3:54) – “And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers.” The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which literally means ‘deceit’. If Allah is supremely deceitful toward unbelievers, then there is little basis for denying that Muslims are allowed to do the same. (See also 8:30 and 10:21)

Let me suggest you read Leviticus which is a whole lot worse than your Quoran quotes…It gives detailed instruction why and how to kill folks “not pleasing” to you….The Bible and specifically the first 5 books that form the Jewish Torah are decidedly immoral/amoral indecent and illegal.

          • kirby1

Many Muslim clerics quote the hateful Koranic versus to justify todays violence at non-Muslim or wrong type of Muslims.

I’ll be more than willing to go head to head on hateful versus Bible vs Koran.

          • my2Cents

And what exactly do the Jews and Christians do with Leviticus that allows killing whenever one is displeased.?
We teach our children more common sense and morality by reading them Aesop’s fables.

Every religion has their fundamentalist nutters and that goes for Jews/Muslims/Christian and it seems Buddhism as well.

            21. Tajikistan: intra-Islamic conflict

            With respect to global terrorism:
            Data from Global Terrorism Index.

            1. 80% of deaths from terrorism in 2013 occurred in just five countries: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and Syria.
The prevalence of Islamist groups is the main driver behind these trends.

            2. Just 5% of terrorist fatalities occur in OECD countries. The UK had the largest number of incidents with 131, while Turkey had the most fatalities

            3. The report recorded 18,000 deaths in 2013, a rise of 60% on the previous year. The majority (66%) of these were attributable to just four groups: Islamic State (Isis) in Iraq and Syria, Boko Haram in Nigeria, the Taliban in Afghanistan and al-Qaida.

            4. The remaining 40% were secular political groups, non-islamic making up in the low single digits

And those are the Facts 2 cents

What is it that you cannot understand that the U.S./UK have for years used paid mercenaries paid/trained and armed in order to create chaos in Islamic countries in order to claim they have a civil war or they are terrorists….Who benefits here?
            1. Chechen war was caused by foreign funded mercenaries
            2. Kosovo were U.S. installed AlQuaida causing havoc and killing Serbs! Milosevic told Holbrook to get AlQuaida out of his country. So Yugoslavia was Balkanized to get Russia.
            3. Afghanistan
            4. Pakistan
We are currently in 177 countries creating chaos
The same M.O. applies to every country you mentioned

What is NOT mentioned by you is the M.O witnessed in EVERY terrorist attack from the Charlie Ebdo, Bataclan, Bussels, London..Boston Marathon etc….All committed by Gladio/CIA commandos using Patsies, all of whom shout Alahu Akbar and then are promptly shot dead. The dead don’t talk. All leave their IDs/passport very conveniently in their car. I don;t know about you but I do not travel with my passport while in Europe and I would never leave it on my car seat.

America did not win WW2 nor any war after that. It creates havoc and chaos. It destroys countries, that is their M.O

After the USSR ceased to exist and we could no longer use the Communist as a tool…..we needed another enemy and Islamophobia was born. Now that may have been convenient for the Israel firsters but not the rest of the world.
We remember the RR bombing in Rome, and Bolognia… the assasination of Italy’s PM Aldo Morro all attributed to Communist but carried our by Gladio.
So we graduated from evil Communists to evil Islam/Muslims.

You wanting to have your own facts does not make it so. You have been thoroughly brainwashed.
            You need help.

          • kirby1

Your post is a product of a sick delusional mind. Stop trying to rationalize Islamic terror with fictitious stories, take responsibility for the mayhem and carnage thast Islam has caused. Since 2001 your religion of peace, Islam, has carried out more than 32,000 terrorist attacks. Just this week alone 1,593 people have been killed by Islamist.

You incessant use of Taqiyya (an Islamic juridical term which allows one to lie) is fooling no one.

          • my2Cents

Yeah, I know must be awfully vexing being caught in lie after lie by everyone here and not being able to get one foot on the ground. Everyone here is lying….Poor thing…
So far almost ONE Million Syrians have returned to Syria preferably to the regions under Assad’s control. They must like all his gassing and torture..Know what Assad’s nickname is in Syria? “Mr. Softy” How do you like that?
.Remember Saddam Hussein and all his WMDs not to forget his gassing of his own people in Halabja….Well that did not happen either….See Saddam was also a builder of damns. and Iraq was the breadbasket of the M.E. One of those damns was in Halabja. Iran attacked Halabja during the proxy war between the U.S and Iran and both sides used gas. Now having provided all the WMD Saddam Hussein had, including his poison gas we learned the day AFTER this gassing that the victims who so tragically died died in the cross fire of a gas Iraq did NOT have but Iran did. And what happened to all these WMDs?….See the smart thing to do is whenever Washington starts vilifying a foreign leader and the MSM jumps on the bandwagon, we can be damn sure that WE ourselves are guilty of the nefarious actions we accuse someone else off And the same is also true of Israel. Remember Quadaffi, same there…remember “We came, We saw, He died, Hahaha”

Just because you have yet to state ONE true word, which is a nice way of saying you lied.does not mean others or in this case I have. See, I was also a missionary until I saw the error of my ways and discovered the extraordinary notion that my God was the same as everyone else’s. Who knew? Huh?
So lying is not part of my schpiel….I leave that to you.

The people that were killed this week were killed by illegal US bombings….
What are we doing in Yemen or Somalia or Niger or the Congo?

International Law allows for the resistance of those who are illegally occupied. Who would that be? But the illegal occupier may not engage in a violent response claiming self-defense….If Israel does not like the resistance it knows what it should do…LEAVE Palestine., Read that again.

Tis best to take Jewish accounts with a pound of salt and look for accurate historical accounts. It is unreasonable & perhaps unfair to expect a notoriously hyper-ethnocentric-racial -supremacist entity such a Jewry to produce accurate historical records; especially concerning themselves, because their north star of morality is ‘What’s best For The Jews”.

The Palestinian refugee issue originated in the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, when five Arab armies invaded the State of Israel just hours after it was established. Palestinian Arabs who fled did so to avoid the ongoing war or at the urging of Arab leaders, and expected to return after a quick and certain Arab victory over the new Jewish state.
The Arab nations refused to absorb these Palestinians into their societies and they were instead settled into refugee camps, insisting that citizen and integration would undermine the refugees’ right to return to their homes in Palestine. Only Jordan’s King Abdullah conferred citizenship on the 200,000 Palestinian living in Jordan.

            Fact:
On November 30, the day after the UN partition vote, the Jewish Agency announced: “The main theme behind the spontaneous celebrations we are witnessing today is our community’s desire to seek peace and its determination to achieve fruitful cooperation with the Arabs….“

Israel’s Proclamation of Independence, issued May 14, 1948, also invited the Palestinians to remain in their homes and become equal citizens in the new state:

In the midst of wanton aggression, we yet call upon the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve the ways of peace and play their part in the development of the State, on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its bodies and institutions….We extend our hand in peace and neighborliness to all the neighboring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all.

          • my2Cents

The Palestinian issue arose after Mr. Balfour of Britain took it upon himself to promise someone else’s land to a 3rd party and assumed the indigenous people would jump for joy as they were being ethnically cleansed.
It was an illegal act. The Jews stole Palestinian land and call it their country….have for 70- years engaged in genocide of the Palestinian people while the world looked on. These are war crimes…But Palestinian resistance is called terrorism….WOW…The Germans were not that delusional. In the meantime the world has woken up son. The Jews have no business being there except those who were born there prior to 1945.
Their arrogance will do them in. This Jerusalem thing is the death knell for Israel.
I’ll ignore that demented expulsion story

My Jewish friends, are well aware, times have changed! Israel, doesn’t want peace, they want land. But they have a small problem. Problem is, how can we get rid of the Palestinians, without the rest of the world taking any notice. Weel, such can’t be doen, so that’s why there in a spasm. Today there’s internet. So, eventually, there will be a state called Israel/Palestine. Meaning a frree democracy 4 both. Also meaning, the end of a Jewish state. Such would please me, and I do no damned well. it will turn you as mad as can be. Being almost 70 years, maybe I live to see the day.

          • kirby1

Spare us your mythological “Jewish Friends”, peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians have failed miserably. The key reason for this failure is the Palestinians’ refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

The true reason for the intransigence among Palestinian officials has nothing to do with settlement building; rather, it is their continued rejection of the Jewish character of Israel. The Palestinians are fully aware that once they sit down at the negotiating table and agreement is reached on all other outstanding issues, they will need to answer whether they are ready to recognize Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people.

          • DPV

Well it’s evident, Israel is recognized by Palestinians, but not as a Jewish State. I can fully respect this, as well as I respect anyone’s religion. But, as there are people within a state, who prefer not to bekieve in whatever, democracy demands the have rights too. I just gave the answer, why the Jewish State Israel is not a democracy! You see Jews are, first of all Arabs. Coming from Irak, all stuff, you do not want to see, or hear!

          • Seoigh

That same old recycled lie has to be regurgitated ad nauseam when the arguments you present are proven weak and disengenuous as yours have been.
I notice the demand to be recognized as a jewish state wasn’t included in peace negotiations with Jordan or Egypt, it was reserved for the “negotiations” with Palestinine which Israel also refuses to recognize even though Arafat recoginzed Israel over twenty years ago so now you want to move the goal posts and DEMAND recognition as a Jewish State when that demand wasn’t made with any other country.
The WB isn’t in Israel, it’s not internationally recognized as part of Israel, and most of the settlements have been built on land seized illegally by Jews who have chosen to live in the WB because the price of housing is half the price in the illegal settlements and build on privately owned Palestinian land. Israel and its rabidly ignorant pro Israeli advocates have no say in how Israel chooses to see itself nor does it have a right to say how anyone else recognizes that, the sooner you get used to that fact the better off you will be ……

          • kirby1

“The WB isn’t in Israel” Wrong

3rd Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Versailles declared in 2013 that Israel is the legal occupant of Judea and Samaria.

Israel’s claim in West bank is based e.g. on the following earlier acts of International Law: The Jan Smuts Resolution of January 30, 1919, Article 22 of the Covenant of the League of Nations, including the Treaty of Versailles of June 28, 1919, The legal title of the Jewish People to the mandated territory of Palestine in all of its historical parts was first recognized on April 24, 1920 when the post-World War I Allied Supreme Council (Britain, France, Italy and Japan), meeting in San Remo, Italy, converted the 1917 ‘Balfour Declaration’ into a binding legal document. This was confirmed by the 1920 Treaty of Sevres and Lausanne. All these recognized the historical connection of the Jewish People with the Land of Israel.

Sure local Arabs have also historical connections between Mediterranean and Jordan river but they have already received their lands under the Mandate system as (Trans-)Jordania was separated from Palestine during the British Mandate. So Jordan is the Arab Muslim state (kingdom) on 77% of old Palestine made legal 1946-League of Nations. They wanted more and made a war and annexed West bank 1950 which then was reclaimed by Israel 1967. According negotiated Oslo agreements (1995) for administration of West bank there are three areas C=Israel state, B=shared by Israel and Palestinian authority (PA) and A=PLO/PA/Fatah but Jerusalem is not Jordans or anyone elses.

Israel made peace treaty with Jordan – occupant of the West Bank from 1948 to 1967 – in 1994 and Jordan does not have any territorial claims in West Bank.

          • Seoigh

The West Bank is not in Israel, it is occupied Palestinian territory even the Israeli Supreme Court deems israels presence in the WB to be a belligerent occupation.
Nothing you say changes the fact that the West Bank is OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORY.
Jordan ceded the West Bank to the PLO as the sole representative of the Palestinian people 1988.
Looks like you don’t much like facts when they don’t suit you, you’d better get used to this one though…..

          • my2Cents

How about all my Aunts and Uncles living with Opa and Oma’s safe house during the war? Do they count?….Hmmm?

Israel is stolen Palestine land….There is nothing you can say that changes that. Zionists are not Semites and have absolutely NO link to Palestinian land. The True Semites are Palestinian. The Jews that lived in Palestine for centuries got along famously with their Arab neighbors, baby sat each others children, attended each others parties, etc. It has nothing to do with building settlements??? Seriously….Bulldozing Palestinian homes or whole villages and hen building settlements on other peoples land is ok with you.? Would you let some out of state guy take over your house with you rolling over and playing dead.? What a sanctimoniousness lying creep you are.

No one in his/her right mind would EVER..EVER recognize a group of violent strangers a right to their land and ethnically cleanse them from it. NO ONE!…The fact that you offer that drivel and expect anyone here to accept that crap suggest the extend to which you have been brain washed. Grow up. Israel is done. The Zionists are nothing but illegal colonists and the quicker they disappear the better it is for Palestinians and the rest of the world. International Law is not on the side of Israel but on the side of Palestine who has EVERY right to resist this illegal invasion/colonization. So far Israel is the terrorist in the M.E. Not Palestinians.

Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is one people and one land, with one history and one and the same fate.” -Prince Hassan, brother of King Hussein, addressing the Jordanian National Assembly, 2 February 1970
“Jordan is not just another Arab state with regard to Palestine, but rather, Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan in terms of territory, national identity, sufferings, hopes and aspirations.” -Jordanian Minister of Agriculture, 24 September 1980
As “Palestinian” politician Zouhair Moussein told the Dutch newspaper Trouw in 1977 (Israel Matzav):
“The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.
“For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jersusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan. There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity… yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel.”

Invention of “Palestinian” identity invention of Russian KGB
In his book, History Upside Down, David Meir Levi puts it this way:
“Arafat was particularly struck by Ho Chi Minh’s success in mobilizing left-wing sympathizers in Europe and the United States, where activists on American campuses, enthusiastically following the [propaganda] line of North Vietnamese operatives, had succeeded in reframing the Vietnam war from a Communist assault on the south to a struggle for national liberation. Ho’s chief strategist, General Giap, made it clear to Arafat and his lieutenants that in order to succeed, they too needed to redefine the terms of their struggle. Giap’s counsel was simple but profound: the PLO needed to work in a way that concealed its real goals, permitted strategic deception, and gave the appearance of moderation:
“Stop talking about annihilating Israel and instead turn your terror war into a struggle for human rights. Then you will have the American people eating out of your hand.”
At the same time that he was getting advice from General Giap, Arafat was also being tutored by Muhammad Yazid, who had been minister of information in two Algerian wartime governments (1958-1962): wipe out the argument that Israel is a small state whose existence is threatened by the Arab states, or the reduction of the Palestinian problem to a question of refugees; instead, present the Palestinian struggle as a struggle for liberation like the others. Wipe out the impression that in the struggle between the Palestinians and the Zionists, the Zionist is the underdog. Now it is the Arab who is oppressed and victimized in his existence because he is not only facing the Zionists but also world imperialism.
To make sure that they followed this advice, the KGB put Arafat and his adjutants into the hands of a master of propaganda: Nicolai Ceausescu, president-for-life of Romania.
For the next few years, Ceausescu hosted Arafat frequently and gave him lessons on how to apply the advice of Giap, Yazid, and others in the Soviet orbit. Arafat’s personal “handler,” Ion Mihai Pacepa, the head of the Romanian military intelligence, had to work hard on his sometimes unruly protege. Pacepa later recorded a number of sessions during which Arafat railed against Ceausescu’s injunctions that the PLO should present itself as a people’s revolutionary army striving to right wrongs and free the oppressed: he wanted only to obliterate Israel. Gradually, though, Ceausescu’s lessons in Machiavellian statecraft sank in. During his early Lebanon years, Arafat developed propaganda tactics that would allow him to create the image of a homeless people oppressed by a colonial power. This makeover would serve him well in the west for decades to come.”

“The Jews that lived in Palestine for centuries got along famously with their Arab neighbors” – “my2cents”

From the 9th century onwards, the medieval Islamic world imposed dhimmi status on both Christian and Jewish minorities, although Jews were allowed more freedom to practise their religion in the Muslim world than they were in Christian Europe.
In Muslim Spain, the Jews prospered under the tolerant rule of the Ummayad caliphate, and Cordova became a centre of Jewish culture. However, the advent of the Almoravides from North Africa in the 11th century saw harsh measures taken against both Christians and Jews. As part of this repression there were pogroms against Jews in Cordova in 1011 and in Granada in 1066. The Almohads, who by 1147 had taken control of the Almoravids’ Maghribi and Andalusian territories, took a less tolerant view still and treated the dhimmis harshly. Faced with the choice of either death or conversion, many Jews and Christians took a third option if they could, and fled. Some, such as the family of Maimonides, went east to more tolerant Muslim lands, while others went northward to settle in the growing Christian kingdoms. At certain times in the Middle Ages, in Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, decrees ordering the destruction of synagogues were enacted. Jews were forced to convert to Islam or face death in parts of Yemen, Morocco and Baghdad.

1840, in the Damascus affair, the Jews of Damascus were falsely accused of having ritually murdered a Christian monk and his Muslim servant and of having used their blood to bake Passover bread. A Jewish barber was tortured until he “confessed” to this crime; two other Jews who were arrested died under torture, while a third converted to Islam to save his life.
In 1864, around 500 Jews were killed in Marrakech and Fez in Morocco. In 1869, 18 Jews were killed in Tunis, and an Arab mob looted Jewish homes and stores, and burned synagogues, onJerba Island. Jews in Morocco were attacked and killed in the streets in broad daylight. In 1891, the leading Muslims in Jerusalem asked the Ottoman authorities in Constantinople to prohibit the entry of Jews arriving from Russia.

One symbol of Jewish degradation was the phenomenon of stone-throwing at Jews by Muslim children. A 19th-century traveler observed: “I have seen a little fellow of six years old, with a troop of fat toddlers of only three and four, teaching them to throw stones at a Jew, and one little urchin would, with the greatest coolness, waddle up to the man and literally spit upon his Jewishgaberdine. To all this the Jew is obliged to submit; it would be more than his life was worth to offer to strike a Mahommedan.”

          • Peter Henderson

Antisemitism is a motive. A person speaking from that motive might or might not be making a good point. The status of Gaza seems indefensible. The people there are effectively under Israeli governance but have no rights. They can be bombed and blockaded with impunity. Suppose Canada blockaded Quebec and bombed them every couple years.

          • kirby1

Following the withdrawal of the last Israeli from Gaza in 2005, the terrorist organization
Hamas emerged as the victor in the 2006 Palestinian elections. Since the establishment of Hamas in the early
1990’s, they have been known to Israel as violent antisemitic terrorists and
have been classified by 7 countries as a terrorist organization. After Hamas won the election Israel and
“The Quartet on the Middle East” (US, Russia, UN, EU) imposed
economic sanctions on Gaza, including the cessation of foreign aid to the
Palestinian government, and restrictions on movement, imposed by Israel. In order to lift these economic sanctions and
movement restrictions, Hamas must: renounce violence against Israel, recognize
Israel, and honor all previous agreements between Israel and the Palestinian
            Authority. This blockade includes a
naval blockade. So far Hamas has not conceded
to these stipulations, and the blockade is still in place.

Although Israel has tolerated years of rocket attacks (13,000+)
on their cities, international outcry from the United Nations as well as worldwide
media is silent. The international media portrays the residents of the Gaza
strip as poverty-stricken, malnourished and scared.

Despite the terror onslaught, Israel continues to supply
electricity and water to the Palestinian people, and these plants are sometimes
hit by the rockets fired by Hamas from within the Gaza Strip, cutting power to
thousands. Since the beginning of 2013,
over 20,000 truckloads of supplies from Israel have crossed into Gaza for
consumption and use by the citizens.
These supplies include meat, vegetables, canned foods, medical supplies,
fuel, water, medical equipment, animal food, school supplies, and cosmetic
products. The Palestinian Authority accuse Hamas of stealing thousands of
liters of fuel from local Gazan companies and then telling the media that there
is a fuel shortage. Fatah members also claim that Hamas is lying about the fuel
            shortage “crisis” for propagandistic reasons.

Commercial crossings between Gaza and Israel have been kept
open – which allowed for a 50% increase of material goods into Gaza. Gazans in
need of medical assistance in Israel have continued to be allowed in. Even
after the “state of calm” was broken by Hamas, those Gazans seeking medical
treatment in Israel were still allowed to do so although they were chaperoned
during the process. Since the June 19, 2008 agreement the Israeli Ministry of
Foreign Affairs has published daily delivery statements on the shipments in and
out of Gaza. These are documents in the
public domain, and these statistics show that the UN High Commissioner for
Human Rights and the media are incorrect in reporting that the Israeli government
has been preventing humanitarian supply shipments into Gaza. Despite the incessant rocket fire from Gaza,
Israel is still sending humanitarian aid during Operation protective Edge.

The Israeli Crossing Authority announced that they stopped
847 attempted smugglings during 2015, mostly at the Kerem Shalom border
crossing. Confiscated items included laser makers and electrodes for weaponry
and explosive devices, pipes used to manufacture rockets, firecrackers, coals,
lighter fluid, soldering coils, and disassembled vehicles. On average 41,000
Gazan pedestrians per day made the journey to and from work in Israel through
            the crossings.
A Palestinian weapons-smuggling boat that had been disguised
as a fishing vessel was intercepted and it’s occupants detained by the Israeli
Navy on November 22, 2016. After observing the boat for several days and
determining that it had picked up weapons and other illegal cargo, the Navy
attempted to take the boat and fired warning shots as they approached. As the
Palestinians on the boat jumped off and swam for shore, the Navy commandos shot
at them, striking the boat by accident and causing it to explode. This was the
            third such interception in 2016.

Indeed, Hamas is not only withholding supplies
from the Palestinians in Gaza but the organization is also spending all of its
resources on weapons of terror instead of material goods that a government is
expected to provide for its citizens. In
the past Hamas has commandeered aid meant for the people, and in one incident
they seized 200 tons of food and supplies from the UNRWA. Palestinians are the largest per capita
recipient of international aid in the world, and they have nothing to show for
            it. Hamas has squandered the
international funds and provided the people with no infrastructure and no
increased quality of life. Instead the
governing body in the Gaza Strip has spent it’s international aid on rockets,
concrete terror tunnels running into their neighboring countries, and terrorist
            propaganda.

Antisemitism is an invention that allows a certain group of people to engage in nefarious and illegal activity and when the world has the audacity to criticize these activities are being shut up by the accusation of Antisemitism…It worked brilliantly for a while, but no longer. 98% of Israelis who use the antisemism card are NOT semites but norther Europeans who themselves engage in antisemitism against the Real Semites, the Palestinians.

            Dr. Martin Luther King:

“When people criticize Zionists they mean Jews, you are talking anti-Semitism,”

“Peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous example of what can be done, how desert land can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality.”

“Israel’s right to exist as a state in security is incontestable.”

“I can say with absolute certainty that Martin abhorred anti-Semitism in all its forms, including anti-Zionism,”—Clarence B. Jones, personal attorney and close adviser to Martin Luther King Jr.

“Martin… warned repeatedly that anti-Semitism would soon be disguised as anti-Zionism.”—Clarence B. Jones, personal attorney and close adviser to Martin Luther King Jr.

He is obviously a quisling and antisemitic. Every people live according to the choices they make. I would say that the people of the PA are under the subjugation of a fanatical regime that puts normality at the end of their list of priorities. The money given to the PA to advance life and infrastructure in the PA is constantly embezzled and redirected to militant aims. The PA could be the rival of the Emirates with all the money they have had. As it is, the PA is still a hornets nest for Israel. The wall is not a blockade to Palestinians. It is a fortified border. There is no reason for the people of the Palestinian territory to have free range and use of the whole of Israel, especially when their intentions are unclear. It is right that this border should have passport control. They cannot cross over into Jordan freely either! Israel has full right to protect itself which includes the right to prevent attacks that are in the stage of being prepared for implementation. Neither should Israel be expected to tolerate the authority not the military potential of proxy terrorist armies along it’s borders. No other country would tolerate that, nor should Israel.

Hi Helen, let’s for go you pathetic attemp at fictional genealogy and discuss several key facts:

An estimated 25% to 37% of immigrants to pre-state Israel were Arabs, not Jews. Between 1922 and 1946 alone, “approximately 100,000 Arabs entered the country from neighboring lands.” “[T]he movement of Arabs within Palestine itself was largely to regions of Jewish concentration. Thus Arab population increase during the 1930s was 87% in Haifa, 61% in Jaffa, 37% in Jerusalem. A similar growth was registered in Arab towns located near Jewish agricultural villages.” Historian Howard Sachar -Howard Sachar, A History of Israel, 2000, p. 167 and 156; Yehoshua Porath, Palestinian Arab National Movement: From Riots to Rebellion: 1929-1939, Vol. 2, 1977, pp 17-18, 39, cited in Mitchell Bard, Myths and Facts, 2001, p. 43. and p. 168

        • Bishadi

The fake news is that the Palestinians have no right to be there. The bad guys are the fools retaining idolatry for ‘zion’

          • Margot Keulen

The fake news; jews have no right to be there, is that what you mean? are you setting up people to organize a second holocaust?

          • Bishadi

Jews are not the problem, but be clear, the majority of zionist are christian, not Jews. Jews are against israel all over the world. It does not mean end israel or harm the state. It means the oppression for ‘zion’ is not good. Zionism is not Judaism and nothing no honest human being could support and still call themselves a Jew.
The holocaust of red heifer, by the zionist extremist of temple institute is a pursuit that is on the edge of neanderthal and specifically the idolatry warned of in tanakh. Oppressing human beings for the city of blood, is the cause of the melting of the dross, per ezek 22. I didn’t write it. I do not support it, but here in the 21st century, it’s best to end the divide, before it’s too late.
Supporting the apartheid is about like supporting ww2 Germany and ‘we’ already know how that ended. This time, it’s best to stop the oppression of the stupidity before it gets out of hand and the civilized will do it by choice.

          • Margot Keulen

if the middle east is so intellectual and civilized? wy the don’t act like a sensible human being and stop their attacks and doing non-violenceresistance? because the majority wants to destroy Israel compleetly! if they’re so sivilized, wy are people who’re atheist, homoseksual, transgender or christian afraid for severe violence?

I asked facts, if you’ve some you did already showd up with it! • my2Cents

Every inmates hair was shaved off to prevent lies from causing Typhus. Bones and teeth are from the crematoria of people who died of Typhus or old age. You regurgitate lies…There is absolutely NO evidence that anyone died in any camp from anything other than natural causes, old age or Typhus epidemics. The Holocaust swindle is up/exposed for the fraud it is.

          • Margot Keulen

You’re tlling the same story! why do you not give real documented and controllable facts? I know it! they do’nt exist. You live in a delusionary fantasy! you looks like a psychiatric patient with an schizotype personality disorder!
I will take this back, if you come with controllable documented facts!

they shaved the hair for using it in cusshions, matrasses, sleepingbags and so on!

morron, they died because they get a shower with cyclon-B, not getting proper food, torture, get shot downm for plesure!

do yo realy think that it was a hollyday kamp, with landmines, machine guns and amoured gards!

          • Margot Keulen

wy only had the people in those camps had typhus and die? wy not the people, living in that area? because there wasn’t an outbreak! wy did,t the typhus did not kill the ss guard and troops around it!?

          • my2Cents

If you have a question Margot it would be “Were there any other people that died of this Typhus”?

            NOT
“wy only had the people in those camps had typhus and die? wy not the
people, living in that area? because there wasn’t an outbreak! wy did,t
the typhus did not kill the ss guard and troops around it!?”
Which suggests you have assumptions which are in line with your own false narrative.

The fact that you should be asking these questions suggests an UNWILLINGNESS to research the truth.
Mass graves of emaciated people were not the product of starvation but the typical product of Typhus.
These mass graves were not from Auschwitz where the water table was too high to allow for Typhus burials, as it would infect the water…So large numbers of crematoria were build….The allied bombings of the railroads caused a lack of Zyclon B and caused more epidemics of Typhus. So much for the allies contribution to the number of deaths from Typhus. By the end of the war Germany invented a machine in which clothes and mattresses could be put which would delouse them. It was called a Magnetron which we, today, know as a Microwave. In German camps inmates and people in the region continued to die by the thousands for at least 3 months after the war was over.

You would have known all this if you had done a simple research. You don’t want to for it because it conflicts with your personal agenda of lies you grew up with and you keep regurgitating here. There is nothing wrong with not knowing but there is NO excuse for ignorance and the refusal to research or accept simple facts when offered to you. .

          • Margot Keulen

I can say the exacly the same about you! yoursef refuse to research and accept simple facts! your are talking about a lack of zyclon B. so you agree that this chemical existed and was used! and of cource you’re are not saying that those telling that those camps existed! a camp with severe healy armed gards and a lot of mines are not build for loved people!
your are talking a bout facts? non-facts created by neo-nazi’s who want to kill everybody who’s not aric, like every one who’s not white. In your beloved erea: everybody whose not a european or had pure european ancestors!
If your facts are controlleble documented facts, then you would show them in the beginning of your replies!

But the topic is the middle east in this moment and calling Israel the satan himself! why talking about european history! If you’re belonging to the race of jews, it doens’t mean your faith is not the rabbinnic jewish religion!

wy does a stupid statement of Trump justify an intifada agains jews? because attacking Trump frontal will be suicide! so the palestine search for a nearby easy target! terorism means a lack of resources and militants to attack frontal!

          • my2Cents

You have an issue with comprehension…If you were to read my above comment again, you might just pick up the fact that Zyklon B was a pesticide that it was used for delousing to prevent Typhus epidemics. Zyklon B is still used today as pesticide. Zyklon B cannot and has NEVER been used for the killing of people. Read that again!! That was established years ago Holocaust narratives notwithstanding. There were NO gas chambers, not in Germany and certainly not in Auschwitz which was a labor camp….What has become clear is that the carpet bombings by the RAF destroyed Railroads PREVENTING the distribution of food as well as Zyklon B which added to Typhus epidemics causing people to continue dying well over 3 months AFTER the ending of the war. THE HOLOCAUST IS THE GREATEST CRIMINAL SWINDLE SOLD TO THE WORLD.
            You ramble.
Israel is a Zionist construct based on those lies and part of that swindle. . 98% of the people that live there are Northern European Khazars who in the 8th century converted to Judaism. They have NO history or link to the Land of Palestine.
Mr. Balfour illegally, on his own, deeded someone elses land to a third party (Zionists) Ever since its existence Israel has been a source of instability in the whole region. Former Dutch PM Mr. Dries van Agt is absolutely correct when he says that Israel is the most dangerous country in the Middle East. They have nuclear weapons and are entirely irrational….They create a reality of their own, none based on facts and it presumes that the victims of this illegal coopting of Palestine by Israel should not engage in resistance. International law allows for resistance during an illegal occupation ….The illegal occupier may not respond with violence under the pretext that it is self defence. It is not.

You seem to have a penchant for translating my comments into something else. I suggest you don’t.

Re Trump: Israel has stolen Palestinian land….Now it seems that the the Holy City of Jerusalem is also claimed by Israel. The world will not allow this….This will be the end of Israel….Read that again/

          • my2Cents

Everyone entering ANY camp had his/her hair shaved off to prevent lies from causing Typhus epidemics. Their clothes were put into a delousing chamber after which they were hung outdoors for about 1 week so as not to kill their owners. So that addresses the hair issue
The bones and teeth came from the crematoria from people having died of either old age or during the Typhus epidemics that killed thousand of camp inmates, their guards as well as German civilians living in the areas.
Camps still show on the outside walls of the delousing chamber the blue color of the Zyklon B from mattresses that were deloused and aired outside so that inmates would not die of the Zyklon B…

You are making allegations that people were “killed” but have so far not provided any evidence….Ido not have to provide a negative. Those who make accusations have to prove they are so, that they were possible. Which so far has not been done.

The Arab geographer Abu Abdallah Mohammed wrote in the tenth century, about Jews as assayers of coins, dyers, tanners, and the bankers. In his time, many Jewish officials served the regime. Jews controlled much of the commerce of the coastal towns. Most of them were artisans: glassblowers, furriers and dyers in Jerusalem. Hebrew scholarship flourished at Tiberias. Toward the end of the rule of the Mamluks, at the close of the fifteenth century, Christian and Jewish visitors and pilgrims noted the presence of substantial Jewish communities. The 8,000 or 10,000 Jews in Safed in 1555 grew to 20,000. The Jews of Jerusalem, wrote the Jesuit Father Michael Naud in 1674, were agreed about one thing: “paying heavily to the Turk for their right to stay here”. Oh, and these invisible Jews by the mid 1800, outnumbered Arabs in Jerusalem.

      • Margot Keulen

what was first? the jewish temple or the mosk op top of it. The word Jeruzalem is typically jewish word. If it was arab, it would have an arab name! I don’t like people who ignore facts! The jews where there , before Mohamed was born.

Ziff’s insights regarding the waves of Arab immigration into Palestine substantiates the assertions of later scholars. During the mandate period, Arabs from many lands flowed freely into Palestine while Jewish immigration was severely limited. The truth remains that the native Arab population in Palestine was relatively small before the first Jewish settlers made it an attractive and prosperous place.

JUSTIN KEATING -THE ZIONIST STATE HAS NO RIGHT TO EXIST

Justin Keating on IsraelThe Dubliner, November 2005

I have a tree in Israel, and I once had a certificate to prove it. In about 1950 a lady from a Zionist organisation planted it for my support of the Zionist Youth Movement in Ireland. But it is all so long ago that it has probably been cut down by now, and I have lost the certificate. At the time, like many young Europeans with left-wing views, as the full horrors of Nazi genocide became known, I supported the new state. But now I have totally changed my mind.

I have reached the conclusion that the Zionists have absolutely no right in what they call Israel, that they have built their state not beside but on top of the Palestinian people, and that there can be no peace as long as contemporary Israel retains its present form. I hasten to make clear that none of this gives me any pleasure, but in the great scheme of things my personal wishes do not weigh heavily in the scale pans of history. I wish I did not think what I do, I hope I am wrong. My conclusions are based on the answers to five questions.

    1. Did the Jews of the Old Testament come from what is now Israel? The answer is No.

    2. Are the Jews of the world today simply the descendants of the people of the Diaspora two thousand years ago? The answer is, only in part.

    3. Does the right of return apply to people who occupied some land two thousand years ago for a historically brief period, to the detriment of those who have been there since? Obviously no. Imagine a world where every people claimed that right.

    4. Did the Balfour Declaration give the Zionists the right to establish a state in Israel? The answer is no. At the time the British Government had no right to give.

    5. Did the United Nations Resolution of November 1947 gave Zionists the right to establish the present state of Israel? The answer is no, and they have continuously and relentlessly violated that resolution for more than half a century, so that any tatters that now remain are void, by their action.

I want briefly to look at each point separately. Some of what I say is taken from a book called My People by Abba Eban, who was Israeli Foreign Minister. He says the Hebrew Tribes came out of Mesopotamia. They moved from Ur in southwest Mesopotamia to Haran, in northwest Mesopotamia. It was here that Abraham was told, by the God that the Jews had invented to leave his land and kinsmen for a new country. Obedient to the divine voice, he moved into western Palestine, the land of the Canaanites. The above is loosely but accurately quoted from Eban. It follows that the Jews came from far away, that they claimed the land of Canaan because their God gave it to them, and there were Canaanites there already. Israel’s Declaration of Independence in 1948 states, “The Land of Israel was the birthplace of the Jewish people.” This was a self serving and untruthful Zionist myth.
    …………….
My second point is that the assumption that the Jews of the world (all of whom claim the right of return) are descendants of the Diaspora takes no account of the Kingdom of the Khazars, about whom Arthur Koestler wrote a book arguing that he and other Ashkanazi Jews were their descendants. Also, it assumes that no Jewish girl ever got pregnant (over 2,000 years) by a non-Jew, and brought the child home to her parents, and it also forgets that the converted wives or husbands who were born non-Jewish can, on conversion, claim the right of return.
    …………….
Point three: At the time of the Balfour Declaration, the Ottoman Empire, which was the ruling power in Palestine, was falling apart, but the British Government had no rights in the area. The Declaration was made to a private person, the head of the Rothschild family, and while Balfour was promising the Jews a nation home in Palestine, T.E. Lawrence was promising the same thing to Palestinian Arabs. In law and in equity it has no validity.
    …………….
Finally, when the United Nations passed its historic resolution (with Britain abstaining) it was a plan for partition. What was new and crucial was that it recognized Jewish sovereignty. The flight of the ignorant Palestinian peasants was founded on such atrocities as the massacre at Deir Yasin where Zionist terrorists filled the well with slaughtered peasants, and went to adjoining villages saying, “Look what happened over there.” In addition, there were bogus broadcasts purporting to come from Palestinian leaders, advising flight. The Jewish-Arab partnership, pleaded for so eloquently by David Ben Gurion -“based on equality and mutual assistance,” to quote his words – was from the beginning a lie which Zionist fundamentalists did not believe
    …………….
Those same fundamentalists, who are in the ascendant now, can only say, “We are here because our God gave it to us.” That is too weak for me, I’m afraid.

All of this is a huge tragedy for ordinary Zionist people, who have been led up a blind alley by fanatics. But it is more. Jews have made an immense contribution to civilization, developing as they were between the great empires of Mesopotamia and the Nile, with both of which they had intimate contact, and by which they wanted to avoid being swallowed. They developed a religion and an ethos based on independence, liberty and democracy to which we all owe a debt. That religion is based on the twin concepts of Law and Righteousness, which inspired over the millennia extraordinary contributions to culture and morality. All admirable. In Israel/Palestine, where are they now?

Zionists have betrayed all of this, and that is a tragedy not just for Jews, but for all of us.

    • kirby1

We only need to look at the birthplaces of the most infamous early Palestinian leaders to realise many of the Palestinians are not indigenous:

Yasser Arafat, PLO Chairman, PNA president, Leader of Fatah and the Palestinian people – born 1929 in Cairo, Egypt

Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, national hero and founder of The Black Hand – born 1882 in Jableh, Syria

Ahmad Shukeiri, chairman of PLO – born 1908 in Tebnine, Lebanon

Ahmed Hilmi Pasha, Prime-Minister All-Palestine Government – born in 1883, Sidon, Lebanon

Abu Abbas, founder of the PLF – born 1948 in Damascus, Syria

Fawzi al-Qawuqji, Palestine Field Commander of Arab Liberation Army – born 1890 in Tripoli, Lebanon
Faisal Abdel Qader Al-Husseini –born 1948 in Baghdad, Iraq

Nayef Hawatmeh, General Secretary of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine – born 1938 in Salt, Jordan

Mahmoud al-Zahar, co-founder of Hamas – born 1945 in Cairo, Egypt.

    • kirby1

Only when the British Mandate of Palestine gave up power in 1948, followed immediately by an all-out attempt by Arab states to crush and expel the Zionists, did the latter take up the sword in self-defense and go on to win land through military conquest. Even then, as the historian Efraim Karsh demonstrates in Palestine Betrayed, most Arabs fled their lands; exceedingly few were forced off.

The Palestinian Authority has become a criminal society, and can be compared to prewar Germany when the Nazis transformed their population into genocidal barbarians by depicting Jews as subhuman. The Palestinians depict Jews as “the offspring of apes and pigs” and call for their extermination. This is not even done subtly, but with blatant statements to this effect emanating daily from religious and political leaders and accessible from vast documentary sources compiled by Palestinian Media Watch, MEMRI and others.

A society in which children from kindergarten are brainwashed into believing that the highest goal in Islam is to achieve martyrdom in the course of killing Jews can only be described as criminal.

The demonization of Israel and manifestations of the culture of death are promoted without inhibition by the leadership, the mullahs in the mosques and the state-controlled media. They amount to direct incitement for individuals to strike out and kill Jews in concert or randomly. The “heroic” scenes of youngsters stabbing Jews, the praise by Abbas himself of martyrs “with holy blood” and the totally contrived religious frenzy accusing Israelis of planning to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque, coalesce into a witch’s brew of primeval rage and hatred.

Algemeiner. Well I speak more than one language.Among them, German. Not that the German language caused the holocaust, but chosing a Jewish propaganda paper machine, and call it Algemeiner, raises a few eyebrows. If I were a Jew, which I wouldn’t mind at all, the last thing I would call my news paper, would be Algemeiner hahahahahaha, Just a “general thought.” as that is the meaning of the word “Algemeiner!”

Israel contributes to the betterment of humanity through it’s invention and breakthrough technologies.

What do Muslim nations do for the betterment of humanity?

There are over 50 Muslim nations and not one is listed as one of the top 20 in producing cutting edge medicines and technology.

Israel made the top ten in the world.

      Islam is a failure.

Aren’t you getting tired of pulling the same card from the stack, the anti-semite ace. If your living in the USA, you must be happy paying the money the US is giving Israel. How many soldiers will be send back in body bags, if Israel will get it’s way, pulling the west in an other idiotic war. Israel was born with war. Terrorism, King David hotel, Deir Yassin massacre. 700000 Palestinian refugees. Libanon massacre. I haven’t the foggiest where you reside, but as i read you, you would have no problem, leaving your home, land, because you were forced of and out, by people who claim they have lived there 2000 years ago. Yet, war is only granted to Israel, and by God, no one else in the region. What you do not grasp, the whole West is hated in the Middle East, because in worlds history of foreign policy, the USA is second to none being the most idiotic of all!

      • kirby1

“How many soldiers will be send back in body bags,”
        – No American soldier has died for Israel but many have died for the Arab Muslim countries.

        “Deir Yassin”
        – Dr. Hussein Khalidi is at the center of a startling new report, in which several Arab eyewitnesses to the Deir Yassin battle admitted that some of their original claims about Jewish atrocities were fabricated. Hazem Nusseibeh, an editor of the Palestine Broadcasting Service’s Arabic news in 1948, admits that he was told by Hussein Khalidi to fabricate claims of atrocities at Deir Yassin in order to encourage Arab regimes to invade the Jewish state-to-be.
In 1948, Labor Zionist leaders initially claimed there was a massacre, in order to score points against the rival Irgun Zvai Leumi and Stern Group, the fighters who conquered Deir Yassin. But Israel’s Labor-led governments have, over the years, gradually rescinded the massacre accusation. A little-known 1952 Defense Ministry judicial court ruled that Deir Yassin was a legitimate military target. Official Israeli government statements about Deir Yassin, in 1960 and 1969 (under Foreign Ministers Golda Meir and Abba Eban), formally rebuked the Labor Zionist officials who had made the false massacre accusation in 1948, describing the “massacre” charge as a “fairy tale” and a “big lie.”

Let’s talk about real massacre: small Jewish community in the ancient city of Hebron lived in peace with their tens of thousands of Arab neighbors. But, on the night of August 23, 1929, the tension simmering within this cauldron of nationalities bubbled over and for a period of three days, Hebron turned into a city of terror and murder as the Arab residents led a rampaging massacre against the bewildered and helpless Jewish community.

By the time the massacre ended, 67 Jews lay dead – their homes and synagogues destroyed – and the few hundred survivors were relocated to Jerusalem. The aftermath left Hebron barren of Jews for the first time in hundreds of years.

Then there are these real massacres

        Jordan Valley and the Galile.

        * “As early as 1920, Palestine Arab opposition to Zionism and desire for self-government led to a threat to public security. … three days of rioting in Jerusalem, in which Arab mobs fell upon Jews with sticks, stones and knives. The Arab Police either adopted a passive attitude or joined in the riots. British troops were called out, the police were disarmed and order was finally reestablished. As a result of these disturbances, five Jews and four Arabs were killed and 211 Jews and 21 Arabs were wounded.”

Again the military forces had to be summoned to replace the unreliable Arab police. The disorders, however, spread. On the 3rd May Hebrew colonies at Kafr Saba and Ain Hal were looted. On the 5th May the village of Petah Tiqvah was attacked by several thousand armed Arabs in semi-military formation, and was saved from destruction only by the arrival of several squadrons of cavalry. On the 6th May Arabs besieged Haderah and attempted an attack on Rehovoth. In these disorders 47 Jews were killed and 146 wounded, mostly by Arabs, and 48 Arabs were killed and 73 wounded, mostly by police and military action.”

        * In 1929 general anti-Jewish riots spread throughout Palestine. From August 23rd to the 29th, “murderous attacks were made on the Jews in various parts of the country. The most violent attacks were those against the old established Jewish communities at Hebron and Safed; there were also attacks in Jerusalem and Jaffa and against several Jewish rural settlements. There was little retaliation by Jews, of whom 133 were killed and 339 wounded.

Britain had to rush troops up from Egypt to restore order. The survivors of the Hebron massacre fled the city having their property and land confiscated by Arabs. Another account reads, “… Arabs armed with knives and clubs invaded the new city of Jerusalem and began a massacre of the Jews. On the following day more than 60 Jews were killed at Hebron, and in the succeeding days a number of Jewish colonies were attacked. The police had to open fire to prevent outrages in Nablus and Jaffa, and Arabs attacked the Jewish quarter in Safed, killing or wounding 45 persons. In all, 133 Jews were killed and 339 wounded, and six Jewish colonies were destroyed. There were 116 reported Arab deaths, many of them as a result of police and military activities.”

The years 1930 and 1931 saw a series of terrorist murders of Jews. Agrarian crime was endemic and the Arabs attempted to take into their own hands the prevention of illegal Jewish immigration. In October 1931, Arab demonstrations and riots directed against the Government, as well as against the Jews, took place in Jerusalem, Jaffa, Haifa and Babes. In the course of these and related incidents, 24 civilians were killed and 204 wounded.

        *
        * For almost three years (1936-39) there was a general Arab uprising resulted in many Jews being murdered and beaten including yet another massacre of 20 Jews in Tiberius.

You can lay blame for the refugees at the feet of the Arabs themselves, moron.
The [refugee] problem was a direct consequence of the war that the Palestinians and surrounding Arab states had launched.

        Israeli historian Benny Morris

In his memoirs, Haled al Azm, the Syrian Prime Minister in 1948—49, also admitted the Arab role in persuading the refugees to leave:

Since 1948 we have been demanding the return of the refugees to their homes. But we ourselves are the ones who encouraged them to leave. Only a few months separated our call to them to leave and our appeal to the United Nations to resolve on their return.

The Secretary of the Arab League Office in London, Edward Atiyah, wrote in his book, The Arabs: this wholesale exodus was due partly to the belief of the Arabs, encouraged by the boastings of an unrealistic Arabic press and the irresponsible utterances of some of the Arab leaders that it could be only a matter of weeks before the Jews were defeated by the armies of the Arab States and the Palestinian Arabs enabled to re-enter and retake possession of their country.

Arab States encouraged the Palestine Arabs to leave their homes temporarily in order to be out of the way of the Arab invasion armies, according to the Jordanian newspaper Filastin, (February 19, 1949).

One refugee quoted in the Jordan newspaper, Ad Difaa (September 6, 1954), said: The Arab government told us: Get out so that we can get in. So we got out, but they did not get in.

The fact that there are these refugees is the direct consequence of the act of the Arab states in opposing partition and the Jewish state. The Arab states agree upon this policy unanimously and they must share in the solution of the problem.

Emile Ghoury, secretary of the Palestinian Arab Higher Committee, in an interview with the Beirut Telegraph Sept. 6, 1948

The Arab state which had encouraged the Palestine Arabs to leave their homes temporarily in order to be out of the way of the Arab invasion armies, have failed to keep their promise to help these refugees.

Well, you sum up a lot. I advise you to take this info to Benny Morris, Ilan Pappe, they are official historians, not I! But, I don’t care if your jumping high or low. The population of the area, was a century ago just about 15 % Jews. The majority said to the Brits (who had promided them self ruling!), no more Jews here. Just as western Europe is demanding, right now, no more Islam here! So Sir, what’s democracy, and if you have some sense left answer this!

So you like Benny the same Benny Morris who after 30 years says he’s giving up. “This is the last book I will write about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict….I’ve done all I can,” he says. “I’ve written enough about a conflict that has no solution, mainly due to the Palestinians’ consistent rejection of a solution of two states for two peoples.”

lets repeat that “mainly due to the Palestinians’ consistent rejection of a solution of two states for two peoples.”

For a historian with some credibility I suggest you read Efraim Karsh the founding director and emeritus professor of Middle East and Mediterranean Studies] at King’s College London. Since 2013, he serves as professor of Political Studies at Bar-Ilan University (where he also directs[2] the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies).[3] He is also a principal research fellow (and former director) of the Middle East Forum,[4] a Philadelphia-based think tank. He is regarded as a vocal critic of the New Historians, a group of Israeli scholars who have questioned the conventional history of the Arab–Israeli conflict.

Benny Morris, has blamed the Israeli Jews for supposed atrocities against the Arabs during the war of 1948, constructing a tale that, to the innocent, appears to legitimize the claims of Arab opponents of Israel. But historian Efraim Karsh has produced a detailed demonstration that Benny Morris is dishonest, and Benny Morris then publicly admitted to the fact!

            Writes Efraim Karsh:

[Quote from Efraim Karsh begins here]

“Among the new historians, none has been more visible or more influential than Benny Morris, a professor at Ben-Gurion University in Beersheba, whose 1987 book, The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem 1947-1949, became the New Historian’s definitive work.

Prominent Palestinian politicians such as Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) [who inherited the leadership of the PLO/Fatah from Yasser Arafat] and Hanan Ashrawi cited the ‘findings’ of the New Historians to support extreme Palestinian territorial and political claims. Academics lauded Morris for using newly available documents to expose the allegedly immoral circumstances of Israel’s creation. With frequent media exposure, the New Historians had an impact on mainstream Israeli opinion, which became increasingly receptive to the notion that both the fault and the solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict lay disproportionately with Israel’s own actions.

Such plaudits, however, were undeserved. Far from unearthing new facts or offering a novel interpretation of the Palestinian exodus, The Birth recycled the standard Arab narrative of the conflict. Morris portrayed the Palestinians as the hapless victims of unprovoked Jewish aggression. Israel’s very creation became the ‘original sin’ underlying the perpetuation of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Had there been an academic foundation to Morris’s revisionism, such acclaim may have been warranted. But rather than incorporate new Israeli source material, Morris did little more than rehash old historiography. While laying blame for the Palestinian refugee crisis on the actions of the Israeli Defense Forces and its pre-state precursor, the Haganah, Morris failed to consult the millions of declassified documents in their archives, even as other historians used them in painstaking research.

Once this fact was publicly exposed, Morris conceded that he had ‘no access to the materials in the IDFA [Israel Defense Forces Archive] or Haganah archive and precious little to firsthand military materials deposited elsewhere.’ ” (my emphasis)[3]

[Quote from Efraim Karsh ends here]

That’s quite an admission for Benny Morris to make.

The most serious and famous accusation of supposed atrocities against the Arabs during the war of 1948 is the allegation of a massacre of Arab civilians in the town of Deir Yassin (Dir Yasin). Historians who unlike Benny Morris have looked at the documents that have recently become available have now decisively refuted such accusations. For example, historian Uri Milstein, who has written the most exhaustively documented history of the War of 1948.[4] As it turns out, the fraudulent Deir Yassin accusation was put out by agents of Hajj Amin al Hussieni, who before the war had been Britain’s instrument of anti-Jewish terrorist violence in British Mandate ‘Palestine.’[5]

So a leading ‘New Historian,’ accuser of the Israeli Jews, cared not one whit for the documentary evidence — he had not even looked at it. And those who have looked at the documentary evidence have shown the most important accusations against the Israeli Jews are frauds concocted by violent antisemites. Should we be surprised? I don’t think so. The War of 1948 was a war of aggression launched by the Arabs, who proudly announced to the world that their objective was the extermination of the Israeli Jews (that the Holocaust was still fresh did not embarrass them).[6] Under such circumstances, one should expect the Arabs, not the Jews, to have been guilty of war crimes. And indeed, war crimes were the Arab policy, to such an extent that Israeli soldiers quickly learned that if trapped behind enemy lines without hope of rescue the thing to do was to commit suicide by exploding a grenade, because the alternative was death by torture.[7] This is without mentioning that the Arab armies routinely targeted civilians.
Bottom line: you’re an ignorant antiemetic trol

      • Kaminoyona

Your Arabs started the war dimwit.

Here is the most dangerous country in the Middle East:

Just some examples of Israel’s humanitarian aid efforts includes:

Israel’s team was the first on the scene in January 2010 after the earthquake hit Haiti. Israel helped save thousands of lives.

In March 2011 following the devastating earthquakes in Japan, Israel was one of the first countries to send aid as request of the Japanese government, and one of the first states to send a medical team and set up a field clinic.

Israeli efforts also include relief to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina,

Israel was one of the first response aid in the wake of the 2004 tsunami with 60 tons of international aid to Indonesia, and 82 tons of relief to Sri Lanka alone.

In 2005 earthquake in Kashmir, the Israeli Flying Aid group sent a mission to give supplies and shelter for thousands of families.

In 2009, Israel medical teams provided relief to storm victims in the Philippines and food aid a year earlier to the Congo.

Since 1959, Israeli doctors have been offering eye camps to treat ocular diseases to people throughout the developing world.

In 1970 Israel opened its doors to the world’s refugees, it has saved non-Jewish people in distress and those seeking refuge from countries such as Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Vietnam, Bosnia, Kosovo, Eritrea and Sudan.

Since 1995 Israeli doctors have been giving kids from around the world, including from the Palestinian Authority (PA), Iraq, Jordan and other Arab nations free life-saving heart operations. Since the organization first started 2,300 children have been treated, and almost half are from the PA, Jordan and Iraq

Duh! Surely that is the most OBVIOUS geopolitical reality on the planet but it is worse yet. Israel is the most dangerous country on earth with it’s extraordinary accumulation of weapons of mass destruction including sophisticated biological and chemical weaponry , electrica, nuclear and heavens knows what else this people obsessed with weaponizing everything from the air & water, the food, information, the medical system academia etc.; and it has all those hostile submarines cruising around waiting for the sudden call to transform the world into a James Bond scenario where the human race is held hostage with the imminent threat of the Samson option to be deployed because the human race, or at least the emotion-based empathetic conscience laden preponderance of humanity may at any moment be viewed by the Jewry = Zioniss hostile elite plutocrats and their pet-Israel, as an Existential Threat. Surely it is a rogue nation & emotes hostility and danger and likely the world and humanity will never again have peace on earth while the hostile Talmudic racial supremacist Judaic Israel-Pineal gland of Jewry flourishes. May God save us all!
