Former Israeli minister ‘proud’ of killing most Palestinians

A former Israeli Defence Minister has said that he is “proud” of killing the most Palestinians, Safa news agency reported on Sunday. Moshe Ya’alon apparently made his comment during a meeting in Herzliya on Saturday night.

Describing the Palestinians and Arabs as “terrorists and enemy soldiers” Ya’alon said that none of the Israeli Knesset or government members had ever killed more Palestinians than him.

According to Safa, the former Israeli Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ehud Barak announced earlier his own pride over killing the biggest number of Palestinians and Arabs in the history of the Israeli army. In three major offensives led by Barak and Ya’alon against the Palestinians in Gaza between 2008 and 2014, the Israeli occupation forces killed about 4,000 Palestinians and wounded more than 20,000 others.

Ya’alon also called for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign on the grounds of the investigations into his alleged corruption.
