Iranian President Hassan Rouhani yesterday called to resolve the Middle East crises through dialogue between the various regional parties and without interference from “foreign powers”.

“We see that if there is a problem in the region, it can be solved through dialogue,” Russia Today reported Rouhani saying.

“We do not need weapons or the intervention of foreign powers. We can solve our problems through dialogue, unity, equality and fraternity,” the Iranian president said, adding that the region has moved past the belief that it is a war zone and a conflict area between Shias and Sunnis.

“No country can claim to be the dominant power in the region, even major powers cannot claim that,” Rouhani said.
