China to issue multiple entry visas to Palestinian businessmen

Chinese Ambassador to the PA, Chen Xingzhong, stated that the Chinese embassy will soon issue multiple entry visas to Palestinian businessmen.

Visa applications must be accompanied by a special letter from the Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the official explained.

During his meeting with the chairman of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammad Herbawi, yesterday evening, the ambassador said that a visa official would work once or twice a month to serve the municipalities in the southern part of the West Bank.

The officials also discussed Chinese support for Palestine and the possibility of assigning a Chinese support programme to the Palestinian private sector, as is the case in many other countries. In addition to aid being allocated to the construction of private solar power plants.

They also discussed the contribution of the Chinese government to the establishment of the industrial zone in Tarqumiyah and the establishment of a 30-megawatt solar power plant in the Bani Na’im area.
