Security official, Sudan ready to protect Jerusalem

The of Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) Mohamed Atta Al-Maoula announced, Sunday, that his forces are ready to implement President Omar al-Bashir’s decision to protect Jerusalem and support Arab and Muslim peoples.

Speaking at the conclusion of a military exercise, al- Moula said “We are reassured by the exercise of our readiness to implement President Bashir’s decisions to support Arab and Muslim peoples”.

Earlier on Sunday, President, al-Bashir said “the Sudanese youth are ready to defend Palestine.

“All young men and women in Sudan are ready to defend the Palestinian cause” the Sudanese president spoke to a rally in the town of Al-Golid.

 Sudan: US did not ask Bashir to quit to improve relations

Meanwhile, the head of operations at the Sudanese Security and Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Dakhri Zaman Omar said the exercise has achieved its objectives while the security apparatus has proved its readiness to face the threats facing the homeland.

On 6 December, US President, Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel sparking criticism around the world.
