Fifteen Palestinians were injured Monday in the West Bank when Israeli soldiers fired rubber bullets, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent, Anadolu reports.
In a written statement, the humanitarian aid organization said the incident occurred in Ain al-Sultan refugee camp in the city of Jericho. It said three others were affected by tear gas.
According to eye witnesses, the clashes erupted when a group of Jews entered the city under the protection of Israeli troops to pray at an historic synagogue.
