Debkafile, an Israeli website close to the military intelligence, has reported that the Trump administration has decided to take a series of punitive measures against the Palestinian Authority (PA) after its successful campaign on Jerusalem in the UN General Assembly.

In a report issued on 23 December, the Israeli website cited its sources in Washington as stating that President Trump had decided to sever contacts and relations with the PA and President Mahmoud Abbas.

According to Debkafile, the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan under preparation in Washington will not be submitted to Ramallah but only to Israel and the relevant Arab governments.

These steps were taken after the PA had been warned more than once, and told to drop its campaign against the Trump pronouncement on Jerusalem because of its negative impact on the region, according to the Israeli website. It added that the White House move was communicated to the PA through a third Arab party.

The Israeli website further reported that the US will not publicly announce its freeze of aid to the PA. However, the administration will stop support and delay the resumption of economic projects backed by US institutions and re-examine them.

President Trump also decided not to invite Palestinian officials to the White House, State Department and US Treasury, and not to receive Palestinians at the US National Security Council where they used to participate in meetings aimed at shaping US strategy in the Middle East.

According to the Israeli website: “The US will halt its contributions to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA), an estimated one billion dollars per annum” and will order Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar to reduce the amount of aid provided to the Authority.

While no official statements were made by the US administration or the PA, the Israeli website confirmed that US officials have informed Saeb Erekat, the PA’s chief negotiator, that there is nothing to discuss with him anymore.

Abbas needs to end the Oslo accords and set the Palestinian security forces free. Enough is enough. If Israel will not honor its treaty to the two state solution then it will be made to.

    • BobH

Yes, can’t wait. Israel will then set its own forces free of course, and we all know that the results won’t be pretty for the Abbas thugs. Save Israel a lot of hassle in the future though.

perhaps your judacult brainwashing persists, but the Israeli Occupying forces ARE free to abuse and kill innocent Palestinians … they are a very effective army against unarmed children, but probably less so (and more prone to crap their diapers) when facing live rounds themselves …

        • BobH

Really don’t know where you get your news from, but wherever it is clearly has no link to reality. The stone throwers only continue because Israel doesn’t respond strongly enough to people throwing stones. Even though the stonethrowers can still do enormous damage. But it’s not just stonethrowers is it, it’s people with knives and bombs and a deathwish. You still ignore the fact that the Muslims have rejected peace FIVE TIMES that would have ended all the fighting, and provided strong borders for everybody. But that would have meant recognizing Israel, so that’s not going to happen. Always remember Netahyu’s words “If you stop, we stop”.

Obviously, you have been sleeping for 70 years… or are you closer to 7 years of age. It is the “Palestinians” who hide behind women and children. Israel has one of the worlds strongest militaries…the Arabs talk big but the only ones they seem to be able to beat is themselves. 97% of all Muslim violent deaths are perpetrated by Muslims.

          • Helen

well now i have never seen any video or pictures of pals hiding behind their children.. but i have seen plenty of the isrlies hiding behind women and children that they grabbed so they can go in without being attacked. personally i think u have been living under a rock if u think u can make such outrageous claims. when ever the jews claim soemthing about the other, it usually means that they are doing it themselves. 70 years of listening to the whimpering jews i have learned that they only cry crocodile tears.. one day the soldiers of th eplanet will get tired of fighting ur wars and go after you, i just hope it happens in my lifetime!!

    • Richard Sandler

Actually, the reason Trump is taking these actions is because the PA has not lived up to its part of the Oslo accords. It tries to circumvent the accords instead of sitting down and negotiating. “It takes two to tango…”

      • Helen

actually isrl broke the accord within the first week of signing it, so it is null-n-void. when isrl lives up to its agreement then maybe there can be peace, but we all know the only peace isrl wants is a piece of this and a piece of that. americans need to stand up and say enough and start demanding to get their money back,

  • Martolt

Sad. Especially as what would quite obviously be fair would be West Jerusalem for Israeli Palestine and East Jerusalem for Arab Palestine, with perhaps an international peacekeeping force for all of Jerusalem made up of Hindus and Buddhists to remove any bias.

  • TheFunOne21

The palestinians sure know how to screw themselves over. Now they’ve participated actively in their own routing. Plans between the US, Israel, and the “relevant arab states” is code for coming up with a solution that’s going to be imposed on the palestinians. Bet they’re wising they’d accepted Barak’s offer now….

  • Raja Sahib

Debkafile is full of b/s. 99% of their stories are just made up cack.

    • Christopher Porozny

      judacult brainwashing, mostly

Abbas needs to have the balls to dismantle PA, and go into retirement somewhere. PA has become nothing more than a justification for the Israeli ethno-racial Zionist regime, to perpetuate their system of apartheid. The Israeli regime will be responsible for welfare of the people of Palestine as an occupying force. Then if they want peace they must leave.

    • Richard Sandler

Nothing in Israel resembles apartheid…in fact, Arab citizens of Israel have more freedom and rights than Arab citizens of any Arab state…

      • Fargo

6000 Palestinians are in jail with no trial or charges, some for years. Even apartheid South Africa was more humane. Go away! whataboutism don’t work for me.

      • BobH

But there is apartheid in the West Bank. There are areas that, in Israeli law, are forbidden to Jews. Hmmmm none forbidden to Arabs though. Does it count as apartheid if you’re forbidding yourself from entering certain areas?

        • Land of Cali

I have a bridge for sale Richard…..1000.00 USD, I’ll throw in some ice for another 100.00 USD. You seem a perfect fit for a bridge to nowhere….
          What say you?

        • Helen

          you make no sense

          • BobH

No, your hamfisted attempts to attribute Islamic doctrinal prejudices to Jews is pathetic. In case you missed it, Israel had a woman Premier, Saudi Arabia clearly hasn’t. It’s only about a month ago that they decreed that women be allowed to drive. And the Saudi royals are definitely not Jews.
The “West Bank” DOES have areas forbidden to Jews, whether you like it or not. Israel is not the apartheid state here. Until he retired last year, Israel had an Arab High Court Judge, who presided over a case of a corrupt Jewish politician. The converse doesn’t happen in Muslim states.

      • Helen

you cant use saudi as an example, because they are not real muslims, the royals are jewish and they treat women like property. if u ask anyone from any other arab state they would say the same thing, as a matter of fact, every arab i have spoken too hate the saudi royals. even their own people hate them.

  • Fred

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Abbas the Egyptian out of a job ????????????????

  • The U.S. will “order Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar to reduce the amount of aid provided to the Authority”. Seriously? I mean, how could America just order these governments to stop aid? America should honestly just stay out of the Middle East.
