French PM’s nephew stabbed in Israel

Three French tourists, including the French prime minister’s nephew, suffered various wounds after being stabbed in the Israeli city of Eilat. The wounded tourists were transported to the Yoseftal Medical Centre for treatment, while the police conducted an investigation into the details of the incident.

According to Israeli media outlets, three tourists, include French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe’s nephew, were attacked by a group of Israelis. During the attack, the three were stabbed.

According to the details of the report, the incident took place on Wednesday night. Israeli police patrols in Eilat saw the three young Frenchmen lying on the ground near the beach. They had suffered various wounds, ranging from superficial wounds to injuries of medium severity caused by the stabbings.

A spokesman for the Eilat police said the tourists said that a group of men provoked them and brutally attacked them with a knife. The attackers then fled. They suspect the attackers were a group of Israeli men.

Two of the wounded Frenchmen were released from hospital the next morning after the attack, while the other remained in hospital for more treatment and examinations.

Israel Police has opened an investigation, but no arrests have been made.
