One day after Qatar’s complaint to the UN Security Council, the UAE denied on Friday that it has violated its neighbour’s airspace, ThenewKhalij.org has reported.
“The Qatari complaint regarding the violation of its skies is false and shaken,” tweeted UAE Minister of State Anwar Qarqash. “We are working on presenting a response with proofs.” The complaint, he added, is an “escalation and unjustified.”
On Thursday, Qatar announced that it has sent letters to the UN Secretary General and the UN Security Council, complaining that jets from the UAE air force had violated its airspace.
