Kuwaiti Parliamentarians

Kuwaiti parliamentarians warned that there is a secret agreement to permit genocide in Syria, focusing on the recent massacres in Ghouta.

This warning came during a conference organised by Kuwait’s National Assembly (parliament), on Sunday, entitled “Ghouta is being exterminated”, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The parliamentarians denounced the genocide in Ghouta and noted its similarity to  other cities such as Aleppo, Homs, and other cities. They also demanded the immediate implementation of the Security Council’s ruling on a cease fire in Syria.

In his speech, MP Adel Al-Damkhi said: “There are tens of thousands of dead people.”

From his part, MP Mohammed Al-Dallal said that what is happening in Syria is not just a war. It is rather a “genocide” in which the principles of humanity have collapsed. MP Osama Al-Shaheen said that the current regime’s existence in Syria is aimed at “protecting the Zionist entity (Israel).”
