The National Counter-Terrorism Committee of the Qatari Ministry of the Interior has added 19 individuals and eight entities to its terrorist list.
The Daesh affiliate Wilayat Sinai is amongst those that have been added to the list. The Commission also included 11 Qatari, two Saudi nationals, four Egyptians and two Jordanians to the terror list.
The list, published by the committee on its website, is the first issued by Qatar under a 2017 decree issued by the Emir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, on combating terrorism.
In October last year, Qatar imposed sanctions on 11 people and two Yemeni entities. The measures included freezing their assets and prohibiting them from travel.
