Israeli settlers reportedly attacked Palestinian students as they were walking home from school in the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron yesterday, according to the official Palestinian Authority (PA)-owned Wafa news agency.
Wafa reported that Israeli settlers physically attacked students and “used foul language against them” as they were leaving school in the Al-Salaymeh neighbourhood in the Old City of Hebron.
No injuries were reported.
Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
