Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, has called for the prosecution of Qatar’s Al-Jazeera TV channel for “spreading lies and rumours that cause confusion in our countries”.
Khalifa said on his Twitter account that prosecuting al-Jazeera channel was among the list of demands put forward by Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt to end the blockade imposed on Qatar.

The other demands include reduce diplomatic representation with Iran; close the Turkish military base being established near Dohal close Al-Jazeera TV channel and the cessation of all forms of funding for terrorist or extremist individuals or entities.
