The Israeli army has announced that a mortar shell exploded near the border inside the occupied Golan Heights yesterday.
Israeli forces responded by targeting an artillery canon in the area from which the mortar shell was fired.
The Israeli army holds the Syrian regime responsible for anything that takes place inside its territory, and said that the Israeli army will not tolerate any attempt to breach Israel’s sovereignty or harm its civilians’ security.
