In a statement, the General Director of Gaza Hospitals Abdul-Latif Al-Haj said that many of the wounded in the “Great March of Return” needed complex surgeries.

Since the start of the peaceful sit-in of the “Great March of Return” on 30 March Israeli occupation forces have killed 41 Palestinians and wounded around 5,000 others, including 2,500 with live ammunition, most have needed urgent surgery.
