Jordan announces increase of pensions

The Jordan’ Social Security Corporation (SSC) has announced it would hold a press conference at 1 pm on Tuesday, 1 May, to announce the increase in the pensions of retirees as of the end of May

The corporation said the increase would include early retirement pensioners who reached the age of 60, according to the Social Security Law

The corporation pointed out that the Department of Statistics provided them with the rate of inflation for the past year 2017, as the corporation will take the average inflation to calculate and announce the amount of increase in pensions during the press conference.
