The meeting of the Partnership Council between the European Union and Algeria started in the Belgian capital Brussels, Monday. The session witnessed talks between the Foreign Minister, Abdelkader Messahel, and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Federica Mugherini.

According to a statement issued by the EU, talks focused on a range of topics. Including: developments in the region; the fight against terrorism; the bilateral partnership, adopted on 13 March 2017; and  regional cooperation.
