A video shows a female police officer being punched in the face during a protest in Israel. Police spokesman Eli Levy stated that upon re-examining the photo from the scene, it appears that the female officer was indeed hit in the nose by an elbow from one of the demonstrators. He added that this occurred during clashes 'when the protester was pushed by one of the police officers without malicious intent to harm the female police officer,' according to Hebrew media outlets.
