Palestinian child dies of wounds sustained in March of Return

A 13-year-old Palestinian child succumb to his wounds after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during the Great March of Return, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

Zakariya Beshbesh had been taking part in events east of Al-Buraij in central Gaza Strip.

Ministry of Health spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that the child was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Al-Shifa Hospital.

More than 135 Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israeli occupation forces’ use of live ammunition and tear gas to disperse unarmed Palestinian protesters taking part in the March of Return in Gaza. The bodies of seven are being detained by Israel. More than 13,000 Palestinians were injured during the demonstrations.
