Graduates applying in large numbers to join Algeria army

The Algerian Ministry of National Defence has witnessed an unprecedented record number of high school and university graduates who applied to join the army only ten days after online registration was opened.

Algeria Echorouk newspaper reported that the high school graduates from both sexes were mainly interested in military health, naval and air defence forces, the National Gendarmerie and the Republican Guard.

The high school graduates were also interested in the National Preparatory School for Engineering Studies and the Central School for Information Systems.

Online registrations will remain open for 20 days.
