Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah has said that the US is a partner in the occupation of Palestine and causing instability in the region, Quds Press reported yesterday.

He stressed that the Israeli occupation government, backed by the American administration, undermines the two-state solution and all chances of peace and stability in the region.

The Palestinian leadership, he said, will not kneel down and submit to the American extortion, referring to the cut in funding to UNRWA and the PA. He stressed that the US “is no longer a partner for peace”.

“We will not barter our national rights with any political money,” he said, calling for all the Palestinians to support PA President Mahmoud Abbas in order to face all the challenges, mainly the “deal of the century”.

He called for Hamas to choose national interests over individual interests and enable the government to take up its responsibilities in Gaza.

“There will not be a state in Gaza or a state without Gaza,” he said.
