Head of the Wafa Party, Abdel Raouf Al-Ayadi, said that “the State of Qatar has played a positive role in supporting the Tunisian revolution, unlike the UAE, which provided corrupt political money and contributed to the return of the old regime.”

Al-Ayadi said in statements to the Tunisian News Plus website that the Arab League was supposed to intervene and seek to resolve the Gulf crisis between Qatar on the one hand and the UAE and Saudi Arabia on the other. However, the league has agendas linked to the war by proxy and its senior financiers, as he put it.

The founding member of the new Tunisian constitution said that Saudi Arabia and the UAE have emerged with the implementation of external agendas. He added that the war they are waging against Yemen is a proxy war and that the formation of the so-called coalition forces came as a reproduction of the Western alliance that hit Iraq.

Al-Ayadi also stressed that the declared war on Yemen by the UAE and Saudi Arabia is a criminal war and that every free voice today should demand the cessation of the Emirati-Saudi aggression on Yemen and the bombing of children.
