Palestinian factions in Ramallah yesterday called for a general strike across the Palestinian territories and Israel against the new “Nation State Law”, Quds Net News reported.

In a statement, the Palestinian factions stressed on the importance of popular activities organised against the Israeli bill and the American “deal of the century” which aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian factions called for standing up against the Israeli occupation’s plan to demolish Khan Al-Ahmar, reiterating that this project paves the way for settlement expansionism that undermines the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In addition, the Palestinian factions called for ending the internal Palestinian division based on the Cairo deals reached in 2001 and 2017.

They also called for supporting the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement which has achieved much success in encouraging global figures to stand against Israel’s discriminatory policies against Palestinians.
