A photo exhibition documenting the Israeli occupation’s violations of journalists has been launched in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Abu Amra said the event was a result of the hard work and efforts of photographers who had covered the protests in the field and are neutral parties in such events.

But these pictures, he continued, are now troubling the occupation and embarrassing it on a world stage as unarmed Palestinians are killed by Israeli sniper fire while demonstrating.

Israeli occupation forces have killed two Palestinian journalists and wounded 254 in Gaza, and arrested 82 in the occupied West Bank since the start of the year, a report by the Journalist Support Committee (JSC) revealed in September.

Journalists Yaser Murtaja and Ahmed Abu Hussein were killed while covering the “Great March of Return” protests in the Gaza Strip.
