October 30, 2018 at 9:19 am

Palestinian prisoner Fahmi Mashahara has a baby girl, Eid, on 29 October 2018 using sperm smuggled from him while he was detained in an Israeli jail

The wife of a Palestinian prisoner who is being held in Israeli jails yesterday gave birth to his daughter after his sperm was smuggled out of prison, Quds Press reported.

The Committee of the Families of Palestinian Prisoners said that 38-year-old Fahmi Mashahra’s wife gave birth to a baby girl after a caesarean carried out in Al-Maqased Hospital in Jerusalem. The baby has been named Eid.

According to the Committee, Mashahra and his brother have been in Israeli prisons since 2002 and are serving life terms over claims that they assisted Palestinian resistance forces.

Mashahra has a five-year-old daughter, Aziza, who was also conceived after his sperm was smuggled out of prison, the Committee said.
