Saudi Arabia had informed Turkey that it would pay financial compensation to the family and Turkish fiancee of Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi who was murdered inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul by a Saudi hit-squad on October, 2, Al- Jazeera channel reported a Turkish official as saying.
The Turkish official said the Turkish authorities have evidence on the fate of Khashoggi's body, but the Saudi authorities are putting obstacles to reach it.
According to the source, when the Saudi prosecutor, Saudi al- Mojaab was asked about the fate of Khashoggi's body, he said he had no information about the matter.
The source added that the suspects' statement handed by al- Mojaab to the Turkish authorities were useless and did not help achieve any progress in the investigation.
