Indonesia rejected a commercial deal with Australia on Sunday due to the possible move of the Australian Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem, Quds Net News has reported.
According to the Israeli news website i24, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that Indonesia had refused to sign the Free Trade deal with his country, citing “Australia’s desire to relocate its embassy”.
Morrison criticised the decision by Indonesia and pointed out that the government in Canberra has not yet made a final decision on the location of the embassy.
