A senior police officer was found dead in his car in Turkey’s Mediterranean resort city of Antalya, security sources said today.
Ali Karaaslan, the deputy police chief in Antalya, was found dead in the car after members of the public informed police that he was not moving in his car on a viewing platform in the Kepez district.
It is thought that Karaaslan used his service pistol to commit suicide inside the car.
No further details regarding the matter were released.
