Daesh militants in Yemen have executed four people in the central province of Al-Bayda on charges of “atheism”.
A video clip posted by the group showed four masked gunmen carrying pistols shooting four civilians in a remote area.
According to local sources in Al-Bayda the four victims were kidnapped recently.
Local sources in Al-Bayda told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed news site that the group’s militants are active in camps in Qayfa district, one of the most prominent strongholds of Al-Qaeda.
Since the war in Yemen began several terrorist groups – including Daesh and Al-Qaeda – have renewed their efforts to expand their control zones. Especially after Saudi Arabia launched an all-out-war campaign against the country in 2015 in an apparent effort to reinstate the internationally-backed government of President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
