UK Palestine advocacy group hosts meeting at European Parliament

A UK-based Palestinian advocacy group is to hold a conference on Israel’s “Nation-State Law” at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, tomorrow.

Parliamentarians, jurists and activists are expected to attend EuroPal Forum’s event which will be hosted by Member of the European Parliament Keith Taylor.

Palestinian member of the Israeli Kneseet, Yousef Jabareen will attend the session to highlight the racist violations committed by the occupying state against Palestinian citizens and the attempts to legitimise their racism.

David Kronin, a journalist and writer who specialises in monitoring Israel’s human rights violations, will discuss the “Nation-State Law” and the effects it has on Palestinians in Israel who makes up 20 per cent of the population.

Irish politician and MEP Martina Anderson and British politician and MEP Julie Ward will also take part in the seminar. They will discuss the European Union’s role in ending the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and ending racism against Palestinians.
